Breaking Analytics (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates breakinganalytics.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
We keep this short and plain because you should be able to actually read it.
Who we are
Breaking Analytics is an online retailer of sealed trading card products, operated from Margate, Florida, United States.
For any privacy question, contact info@breakinganalytics.com.
Information you give us
When you place an order, we collect:
- Name
- Billing and shipping address
- Email address
- Phone number, where you provide one
- Order contents and history
If you create an account, we also store your username, password (encrypted — we cannot read it), and saved addresses.
If you contact us or sign up for emails, we keep your message and email address so we can respond.
Information collected automatically
When you browse the site, our servers and analytics tools record:
- IP address
- Browser type and device information
- Pages viewed, and the site or search that referred you
- Date and time of your visit
This is standard web server and analytics data. We use it to understand which products and articles people are interested in, and to detect fraud and abuse.
Payment information
We never see or store your full payment card details.
Payments are processed by [PayPal / Stripe], who handle card data directly under their own security standards and privacy policies. We receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded, along with limited details such as the last four digits of the card and the billing address, so we can identify your order and handle disputes.
How we use your information
We use what we collect to:
- Process and ship your order
- Send order confirmations, shipping notices and tracking
- Respond when you contact us
- Handle returns, claims and payment disputes
- Detect and prevent fraud
- Meet our tax and accounting obligations
- Understand how the site is used, so we can improve it
We send marketing email only if you ask us to. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Order and shipping emails are transactional and are sent regardless, because you need them.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them for:
Essential cookies — remembering what’s in your cart and keeping you logged in. The store does not work without these.
Analytics cookies — [Google Analytics], which tells us how many people visit and which pages they read. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will break the cart and checkout.
Who we share information with
We share information only where it’s needed to run the business:
| Who | Why |
|---|---|
| PayPal / Stripe | To process your payment |
| USPS / UPS / FedEx | To deliver your order — name and address only |
| Google Analytics | Aggregated site usage statistics |
| Our web host, NameCheap | To operate and back up the site |
| Accountants, or legal or tax authorities | Where required by law |
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with data brokers, advertising networks, or anyone else for their own marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
Order records are retained for 7 years, which is what tax and accounting rules require.
Account information is kept until you ask us to delete it. Marketing email addresses are removed as soon as you unsubscribe.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS, so data between your browser and our servers is encrypted. Payment details go directly to our payment processor and never touch our servers. Access to customer data is limited to people who need it to fulfil orders.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your personal information, we will notify you promptly.
Your rights
Whatever state or country you’re in, you can ask us to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything that’s wrong
- Delete your information, except records we’re legally required to retain
- Stop sending you marketing email
Email info@breakinganalytics.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so we don’t hand your data to someone else.
We will never treat you differently, refuse service, or charge you more for exercising any of these rights.
California residents
If you live in California, the CCPA gives you specific rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale.
We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. All other rights are covered above — use the same email address.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact info@breakinganalytics.com and we’ll delete it.
Links to other sites
Our site links to third-party sites, including our YouTube channel and payment providers. We’re not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them information.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page when our practices change, and revise the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be announced on the site.
