The three biggest NBA Debut Patch sales on record have an owner, and a new home. PrizePicks announced on October 21 that its new PrizePicks Packs product launches with the Cooper Flagg Rookie Debut Patch autograph (DPA-CF, PSA 10), the Dylan Harper card (DPA-DH, PSA 9) and the Kon Knueppel card (DPA-KK, PSA 10) as chase cards, which means PrizePicks now holds all three.
Those are the same three cards that sold at Fanatics Collect on September 25 for $8,040,000, $2,880,000 and $2,340,000, a combined $13.26 million in one night. The $8.04 million Flagg sale is the record for the set and is logged on our NBA Debut Patch tracker with the lot and date.
What is confirmed, and what is not
Confirmed, from PrizePicks’s own press release: the company owns the three cards and lists them as available to pull in PrizePicks Packs. Sports Illustrated describes PrizePicks as the new owner of the Flagg card. Sports Collectors Digest reports that PrizePicks bought the cards from a collector after the Fanatics Collect auction rather than bidding at it. PrizePicks itself has not said who the September 25 winning bidder was, so we are recording PrizePicks as the owner as of October 21, not as the auction buyer, until a source says otherwise.
What PrizePicks Packs is
A digital pack rip tied to physical cards. Packs run in nine price tiers from $1 to $2,500, with basketball, football and Pokémon cards in the pool. A card you pull can be shipped to you or sold back to PrizePicks at what it calls 100 percent of fair market value. The headline cards alongside the three Debut Patches include a 1998 Pokémon Japanese Illustrator Pikachu graded CGC 9.
Why it matters for the tracker
These three are no longer in a collector’s safe; they are inventory in a repack, which means one of them can change hands again at any time, to anyone with a $1 pack. If one is pulled and reported, that is a new sighting and will be logged here with its source. The sale prices stay as the comps for the set, and the pricing guide explains why a repack placement is not a sale.
